One problem I used to deal with all the time while I was working out was cramping in my legs and hands. I used to never have water with me and would drink from the fountains, but always cramped up anyway.
I started bringing a full bottle of water with me to the gym and try to stay hydrated for a full workout. Sometimes a full bottle is too much, other times it’s not enough. The key is finding balance between too much water and not enough.
If there is too much water, the feeling of being full and bloated making the workout difficult to finish. If there’s not enough water, cramping occurs.
For an activity like hot yoga, however, it’s important to bring multiple bottles of water to replenish all of the fluid that is lost during yoga.
Hydration is also key to losing weight, if that’s the ultimate goal.
